Our surf camp is located in sunny Andalusia. Here you can not only do yoga and surfing, but also numerous other activities. In the camp we have SUPs, carverboards, a volleyball net and toys for children. You can also learn Spanish with us or book an Ayurveda consultation. Our on-site masseur and physiotherapist Laura offers the ideal extra relaxation after surfing.
The area around El Palmar offers so much for those who want to venture a little further - you can go climbing, mountain biking, hiking, whale watching or even horseback riding on the beach. If you like sightseeing you'll find numerous beautiful towns and cities in the immediate vicinity.
Every Wednesday, when no further activities are planned for the day at the surf camp, Kirsty and Susana have a great offer for you: go on a discovery tour with them and explore the secret sides of Conil de la Frontera. Susana grew up in the area and knows all the insider tips and every corner of Conil.
About Conil de la Frontera
Conil is a beautiful white village only 5km from El Palmar. These are typical for Andalusia and Conil is one of the most beautiful white villages in southern Spain. Especially enchanting are the green courtyards, one of which you will get to know on the tour.
Program of the Kultour
The cultural tour begins with a short walk through Conil de la Frontera. You will get to know the authentic side of the village with the fishermen's quarter. Afterwards we take you to a wine tasting with tapas in a rustic vinotheque. The final and highlight of the tour is a visit to a romantic Spanish patio with a flamenco performance.
Together you will explore a real insider tip: the old fishermen's quarter in Conil. This district is so secret that no tourist will get lost here and even some locals don't know it. Be sure to pack your camera.
That would be an evening of Spanish culture without food and wine? During a stopover at the cosy wine bar La Solera, you can taste the Andalusian wines. And there are really delicious tapas to go with it. Owner Roberto tells entertaining anecdotes and you will learn a lot about each of the wines. Did you know, for example, that the famous sherry comes from the Cádiz region?
For the cherry on the icing on the cake, we'll take you to a 250-year-old courtyard. Here you can lean back and inhale a piece of Andalusian history. Andalusian tradition also includes flamenco. Fortunately we know a gifted flamenco dancer in Conil de la Frontera. Paula, a professional dancer, performs a very special piece of dance exclusively for our guests. Whether you know something about Flamenco or not, we guarantee that you will be thrilled!
Accompany Kirsty and Susana to Conil de la Frontera and experience a very special evening of Spanish culture tour. You can book the tour at Kirsty and Susana in the camp. If you have any questions, they will be happy to answer them.

Ayurvedic philosophy sees every human being as a unique combination of the elements ether, air, fire, water and earth. These elements form three bioenergies - the Doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha. In a detailed anamnesis discussion, our ayurvedic consultant will assess your individual constitution and the current state of being to give you personalised recommendations for nutrition and lifestyle.
The consultation will give you a basic understanding of how food and spices can be used as a targeted remedy and how imbalances can be regulated by a more conscious lifestyle before diseases develop.

When do the Spanish classes take place?
The teaching time depends on our surfing and yoga courses and/or by individual agreement.
If there are no waves, you can take one of our SUPs. With Stand Up Paddling you stand on a large board and move through the water with a paddle. So you can also go into the water on flat days. With an SUP you can also train your balance and core strength.
Are you a hot shot? Grab your arrows or a pool cue and and let's see. In the A-Frame lounge there is a pool table, a dart board and comfortable armchairs, books and surfing magazines.
You can always take out one of our Carver Boards. The streets of El Palmar are ideal for practicing. The axles of the boards are built in such a way that they simulate the feeling surfing. So you can also train your surf skills between surf sessions or on flat days. Or just enjoy a carve and cruise around.
Do you like beach volleyball? Between surf classes and the yoga lessons you have a lot of free time which you can use for a match with the other guests. Volleyball equipment is available to take to the beach, we have a net and balls in the camp – just ask.
Only 700 meters from the beach is the riding stable "Cortijo Mangueta" which offers beach horserides in small groups (max. 8 people). A private beach ride is also possible. Before going to the beach, you will spend some time in the riding arena so that you can get to know your horse. In the riding stable there are horses for every level so beginners and advanced riders can enjoy their trip.
A ride takes place with a maximum of 8 people. Together in a group you can enjoy a sunset or a brisk canter along the beach. Less experienced riders will first be introduced to the basic techniques of horseriding in the arena before we ride off-road and towards the beach.
